This presentation explores recent advances in targeting novel neurobiological pathways, specifically glutamatergic neuroplasticity, for weight loss. Additionally, it will present data from translational overfeeding studies that utilize controlled overfeeding to examine the homeostatic defence mechanisms against positive energy balance.
